El Mercado is a fictitious fast-casual Mexican restaurant and has many customizable food options. The restaurant is for people who are on the go, but can also be a place for people to hangout and enjoy their food. The restaurant utilizes organic ingredients and in Spanish, "el mercado" means “the market”, so coming up with a design that evoked a home-grown and rustic feeling was the only appropriate choice. The colors are meant to reflect on the natural quality of the restaurant as well.
